Upon arriving in Taos you will need a comfortable place to stay. Fortunately, there are a handful of hotels nearby including ISS's home campus, the Sagebrush Inn. Discounts are available to ISS participants.

Participants of the ISS art seminar can stay for a special rate at the Sagebrush Inn. The Sagebrush serves as the ISS campus and is located on the southern outskirts of Taos. It is a charming and comfortable New Mexican style hotel/motel.
The Studio
The seminar is held in the large, new conference center of the Sagebrush Inn. Our spacious studio provides a large painting area, seating for slide shows, figure painting set-ups, and areas for private critiques. Each participant will have ample space at a painting table.
Amenities
The Sagebrush Inn has a restaurant, two swimming pools and three hot tubs that are available to guests, and Country Western dancing in the evenings. You can find other good restaurants close by. Every half hour the Chile Line bus will take you downtown or as far as the Taos Pueblo (approximately $1/roundtrip).
Located 2.5 miles south of Taos Plaza, the Sagebrush Inn offers accommodations ranging from $57/single, $61/double to suites from $89/double.

Rooms are also available to ISS participants at special rates at the on-site Quality Inn or Comfort Suites. Restaurants and activities are available at the hotels as well as in nearby downtown Taos.
